This piece captures a fleeting moment of pure joy and connection. I wanted to portray the bond between the girl and horse, their shared trust and happiness. Using water-based oils gave me the flexibility to blend and layer each stroke, creating depth and movement in the water and the figures. As I worked, the colors seemed to flow naturally, capturing the energy of the scene. Each brushstroke felt like an extension of my thoughts, channeling my desire to freeze that instant of laughter and companionship in a swirl of vivid hues.
